Courier Performance, Work Environment, Workload, and Compensation: A Study on Indonesian Courier at a Package and Document Delivery Company

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the effect of the work environment, workload and compensation on the performance of package delivery officers and documents. The population in this study were 300 officers delivering packages and documents. The sample used was 171 package and document delivery officers, calculated based on the Slovin formula. The sampling method used was Simple Random Sampling. The data collection method was obtained through a questionnaire. Methods of analysis and data hypothesis testing were carried out using IBM SPSS and Smart PLS. The results show that the first hypothesis (H1) and the third hypothesis (H3) are accepted, which is the work environment and compensation has a positive and significant effect on the performance of package delivery officers and documents, while the second hypothesis (H2) is rejected, which is the workload has a positive and significant effect on the performance of package delivery officers and documents
